It was hard to find someone who did not know a soldier that was killed in Vietnam. It was a war that wasn't a war. It was a government that played with casualty figures in the name of Democracy. Yet, it was a fight during a period of stress, for the things that America stood for. So many were injured and died to preserve the very system that rewarded them with minimal recognition of their efforts. Regardless of which side of the fence you were on, it was a time of conflicting information and mixed emotions. The Sixties Museum will preserve, document and display the facts and the memories of that time. The Living Vietnam Memorial will put a fact to the names of those who died. The Sixties Library will collect, preserve and make available information about the conflict. Information on the units that served, the people who died and the friends they made will all be on display for generations to appreciate. There are other memorials, but none that tell the complete story, with the names , faces, units and historical items of the time. Wee need pictures, movies and military items. We need your support and donations. Those pictures don't belong on E-bay. Visit the Living Vietnam Memorial Page Help Us Build It And Put A Face To The Names If you can't donate, let us add you movies, photographs and slides to the memorial.
