FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 10, 2004 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: The Sixties Museum Band Reunion. Chicago, IL—August 10, 2004— The Sixties brought us The Space Race, the Civil Rights Movement, Vietnam, Political Change, the Environmental Movement, Women’s Liberation and Cold War scares. Nowhere were the changes more evident than in the music of the times. The Sixties Museum Band Reunion will feature numerous original 60's talents, in a reunion concert and benefit, for the Sixties Museum that is coming to Chicago. Featuring artists such as Jamestown Massacre, Jimy Rogers and The Mauds and a 60's review by The New Invaders, many artists of the Sixties will jam their way back into a decade of teen nightclubs and pure rock n' roll. These 60's greats, will join the supporters of the museum at Pop's Pizza and Sports Bar in Roselle on Saturday, November 13, for six hours of nostalgia. When it opens in 2006, the Sixties Museum will feature numerous exhibits on all facets of the Decade of the Sixties, and these bands and others are there to lend support. The admission is $20 per adult. Pop's is located at Nerge and Plum Grove Road in Roselle. Parking is free and Pop's features some of the best pizza in Chicago. The hours are 7:00 pm to 1:30 am, and all proceeds benefit the Sixties Museum, a registered IRS charity.
